Northeast Kansas Animal Welfare Foundation was founded in 1983 by a group of pet advocates who wanted to support animal sheltering and raise awareness about spaying and neutering. The Foundation has evolved and adapted to meet the growing needs of the animal welfare movement. We leverage donor support to address the needs of pets in our region. We accomplish this through strategic grant funding, professional development, and collaborative advocacy and awareness. 

A collaborative group of leading nonprofits, fundraising platforms and DAF providers are coming together to activate their collective audience of millions of donors for a single day of unprecedented generosity.
