Northeast Kansas Animal Welfare Foundation is pleased to announce at least $12,000.00 in grant funding available for capital improvements and professional development. We're looking to fund projects that can be fully funded within a budget of $3,000 or less. This could be used for something such as new kennels, necessary veterinary equipment, new computers, repurposing or revitalizing a space, or items needed for outreach or conducting business. Capital improvements can be anything structurally or any tools that would help you accomplish your mission.
Professional development grants can be used for anything that allows you to expand your knowledge of animal welfare best practices that can be beneficial to your organization. This can include conference registration fees, hosting a training or workshop at your organization, continuing education, and more.
Please use the form below to submit your proposal. The deadline to submit proposals for this round of grant funding is September 1st. Our Grant Selection Committee will convene after the deadline to select the recipients. Winners will be notified by October 1st and funds will be disbursed by November 15th.
NEW! -> You can now save your progress and come back to work on your submission. No more having to sit down and complete the entire form at once. We recommend typing your responses in a separate document and copying/pasting to the form, then saving your document in case your progress is lost. You should receive a confirmation email when your proposal is successfully submitted.
At this time, only organizations in our service area are eligible for grant funding.
