Northeast Kansas Animal Welfare Foundation offers scholarship opportunities to make it possible for advocates, volunteers, and professionals to take advantage of some of the continuing education opportunities in the industry. These scholarships have been made possible by the Singer Family.

The Midwest Animal Sheltering Conference spans 2 days and includes 25+ sessions and networking opportunities.
This year's conference takes places October 10-11, 2025 in St. Louis, MO. This is the Midwest’s only regional conference focused on animal control, sheltering, and rescue!
Scholarships from NKAWF will cover the registration and hotel accommodations for 2 individuals from our service area to attend this conference.
